Sunset Bar

The Sunset Bar is a lively balcony bar on a large open-air terrace with a wonderful view of the Indian Ocean.

The bar, which is situated on the first floor of the Africa House Hotel, is a popular meeting place throughout the day and especially in the late afternoon. The colourful panorama as the sun sets over the ocean with fishermen gliding by in their sail-set dhows is a daily highlight.

LUNCH MENU COCKTAILS & DRINKS MENU Beside a choice of various soft drinks, wine and beer, the Sunset Bar's drinks menu is well known for its wide variety of cocktails, such as Vanilla Sky, Mojito or Sex on The Sandbank. Tasty bar food like Traditional Zanzibari Fish Curry, Stone Town Chicken Curry or Sunset Burger is available on the lunch menu. Traditional dance and music shows entertain guests on a regular basis.
